Suit Hire
Hire, fitted to you
Weddings, matric dances, funerals and corporate events. A hired suit from Flux is still fitted to you before you take it — not handed over off the rack. By appointment, and ready two to three days after your first fitting.

Every hire is adjusted to you. That is the difference from a rental rack.

How it works
How a hire works
Hire is by appointment. You choose the suit, we measure you against it, and we adjust it to you — which is what separates a Flux hire from a rental rack. For a wedding party we fit everyone together so the group matches.
It is ready two to three days after your first fitting. You sign a hire agreement at collection, and cleaning is handled on our side.
Step by step
What actually happens
Book an appointment
Hire is by appointment, not walk-in. Matric dance season runs September and October and wedding season follows it, so those weeks fill first.
Peak: Sep to Dec
Choose and measure
Pick the suit and we measure you against it. For a wedding party we fit everyone together so the group matches.

Sign, collect and return
You sign the hire agreement, collect before the event, and return it after. Cleaning is handled on our side.
Questions
Before you come in
How is this different from renting a suit?
Every Flux hire is fitted to you before you take it. A rental rack hands you the nearest size and you wear it as it comes. We adjust the garment, which is the whole difference.
Can you do a whole wedding party?
Yes, and it is most of what we hire out. We fit the groom and the groomsmen together against the same cloth so the group reads as one in the photographs.
What happens if something is damaged?
Fair wear is expected and is not charged for. Damage beyond that — tears, burns, or marks ordinary cleaning will not lift — is charged against the deposit. Do not have a hired garment cleaned or altered by anyone else.
How far ahead should I book?
Hire is by appointment, and it takes two to three days from your first fitting to delivery. Tell us your date as early as you can anyway — September to December is our busiest run, because matric dance season and wedding season overlap, and the best garments go first.
What does a hire cost?
It depends on the fabric and the design of the garment, the same as everything else we make. We quote at the fitting, before you commit to anything.
Is there anything to sign?
Yes. You sign a hire agreement before the garment leaves us. It records the garment, the hire period, the deposit held against it, and the condition it goes out in — so there is nothing to argue about when it comes back.
